Once completing Learn to Row, you will continue to develop your rowing stroke while introducing training principles. You will walk away knowing more drills, greater understanding of the sport and a solid foundation of the rowing stroke. The intermediate program is also great for any rower that wants to spend more time on focusing on the fundamentals while getting to know all of our new rowers. There will be local racing opportunities available in the summer and fall.
During Spring and Summer the team competes in Spring races approximately 1 kilometer in length, racing side by side with other boats from all over the country. Then the team transitions to Fall racing where the races are longer, and the boat races the clock. When Winter comes around, the team heads to the Rowing machines and indoor tanks for preparation for the next year's summer season.
